Ancient Maps is seated as eleventh on my list of 13 favorite musical works completed by Midnight [Midnite Band]. "Hail Jah"opens thee dark cover art with a mild Psalm about becoming awakened in thee economy of others. There is no shift in pace except for "Knock A Fire" which sounds like live Midnight.  As all eleven well written songs telling of economical outrage,  "Judgement for thee Sentence" came out on top as my favorite song on Ancient Maps due only to Vaughns' smug delivery, wordy slang, mostly pleading "na" to his members.
